Oráiste is a creative portfolio theme designed for designers, agencies, and studios who want a modern and stylish way to showcase their work. It combines sleek design with functionality, making it perfect for portfolios that need both aesthetics and usability.
CONTEXT
My experience at Qode Interactive was truly fascinating. Working on inspiring WordPress themes during the COVID period was a refreshing and rewarding challenge.
Each theme was a collaborative effort, with a dedicated team of designers, developers, site builders, copywriters, and more.With the support of our leaders and teammates, we created several standout themes. I’ve highlighted a few that were particularly important to my growth—complex projects that helped shape my design style and strategic approach.
Building a theme was more than just design work; it was a deep learning experience. I gained a solid understanding of proper responsiveness, structuring hierarchy, and setting clear design guidelines—key elements that continue to influence my work today.
Different types of menus, numerous variations of homepage layouts, and a wealth of code made this project truly dynamic. You can choose between light and dark versions of the site and have a custom portfolio page built in Elementor. The use of multiple fonts also helped break the monotony while maintaining focus. Thanks to all these features, the theme was awarded a CSS Design Award in 2021.
